June 14 is the Day of Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Georgia. On June 14, 2022, a march was held in Telavi within the framework of the EU project Civil Society for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities initiated by the NGOs Changes for Equal Rights and the Coalition for Independent Living.

The newly elected mayor of Telavi, Levan Andriashvili, also attended the seminar.
