On April 25–26, the regional conference "Towards a World without Barriers: Accelerating the Implementation of Inclusive Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities" was held in Yerevan, in which both Caucasus and world-level experts took part.

On February 16–17, disabled persons living in Tbilisi, Kvemo Kartli, and Samtskhe-Javakheti and representatives of organisations working on the subject of disabilities were given a seminar on the topic of "Legal mechanisms for the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities."

On October 24, an international conference was held between the civil society organisations of Georgia, Armenia, and Moldova through the "Zoom" platform. The meeting was held within the framework of the project "Moldovan, Armenian and Georgian DPOs for Inclusion and Cooperation (MAGIC)", which is implemented with the financial assistance of the "European Union".

THE FIRST JOINT GATHERING OF THE NETWORK OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES OF GEORGIA TOOK PLACE ON OCTOBER 3 AND 4

The first joint gathering of the Network of Persons with Disabilities of Georgia took place on October 3 and 4.   The network was formed over a number of years, and in 2020 it assumed an organised structure. Its primary goals are to protect the rights and freedoms of people with disabilities guaranteed by international and national law, to advance the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and to improve the standard of their independent living.
