INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN TBILISI
On 1-4 October of 2015, the International Conference was held in Tbilisi. The conference was organized and funded by the German Foundation "East-West Partnership Fund", which is supported by the Government of Federal Republic of Germany. The Coalition for Independent Living played an important role to make Georgia conference venue and supported event with logistical arrangements. The conference involved discussion on the 4th, 29th, 32nd and 33rd articles of UNCRPD.
Within the framework of this conference another meeting of the member organizations of “International Union of Disabled People's Organizations" was held. The Coalition for Independent Living is the member of the Union as well.
Participants were from 14 countries – totally 27 representatives from the unions of DPOs.
