Training on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities
On July 6, in Gori, the chairperson of the "Coalition for Independent Living,” Giorgi Dzneladze, and an expert on the law of disabled people's rights, Ketevan Khomeriki, led a training on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities for activists from Shida Kartli municipalities and representatives from disability organisations.
The meeting was held within the framework of the project "Advocacy for the Implementation of the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities" The "Europe Foundation" and the "Independent Living Center of the Hudson Valley" are the project's partners.
