The Coalition for Independent Living responds to the events of July 5 and calls on the Georgian authorities and law enforcement agencies to respond adequately.
We condemn yesterday's acts of violence against civil society activists, members of the public and the media, and believe that all persons who have committed acts of violence must be brought to justice in full compliance with the rule of law.
The Coalition for Independent Living expresses solidarity with all persons who have been restricted from participating in a peaceful assembly or have been prevented from carrying out their official activities.
