On December 2, 2016 a round table was held in Batumi city on the following topic - The Role of the Councils for the Promotion of Independent Living of People with Disabilities. The round table was organized with the financial support of USAID within the framework of the "Disability Legal Advocacy Project".
The event has been concluded by Cooperation Memorandum on the Provision of Equal Opportunities to People with Disabilities between the municipalities and "Coalition for Independent Living" . The final version of the memorandum will be sent to the municipalities, after which it will be signed by the parties.
