Portable ramps for voters with disabilities
In order to ensure the maximum involvement of DWPs in the elections scheduled on October 1st, the International Fund for Election Systems (IFES) in cooperation with the Central Election Commission (CEC) provided manufacturing of 12 portable ramps for DWPs.
The representatives of the IFES and the CEC attended the delivery of the ramps at the enterprise of the Coalition for Independent Living.
The ramps will be distributed among various election districts. They were manufactured at the Coalition enterprise within the frameworks of the project: “Increasing the Faith in Election Process”, conducted under the grant received by the IFES. The project is being implemented with theifes.jpg financial support of the USAID.
New portable ramps were designed to enable the voters with disabilities to protect and realize their rights to vote.
