Small Grants Competition Winners
CIL announced the small grants competition for supporting advocacy and inclusive development in disability on June 21 on www.jobs.ge, CIL website www.disability.ge and the official CIL Facebook Page.
Only local DPOs and/or organizations working on disability issues in Tbilisi and the regions of Imereti, Guria, Samegrelo and Adjara were eligible to submit application under this RFA.
The key goal of the RFA was to support capacity building of local DPOs and disability organizations in order for them to effectively implement advocacy projects and promote equal rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities in their communities.
A total of 13 applications were submitted to CIL from various target regions. Grant Evaluation Committee consisting of representatives from different International and Georgian NGOs. In the end, based on the decision of the GEC, CIL decided to award small grants to 5 applicants. Below are the brief descriptions of the selected and modified projects.
