The overall goal of the project was to educate young voters (including PWDs) about electoral and civic culture in Tbilisi and 25 cities of Georgia; inform the young voters about the importance of democratic elections and the participation of voters in the process of managing the country via elections.

With these goals in mind, the CIL held seminars in 35 schools of Georgia to inform them about the importance of the role of elections in the democratization process and greater voters participation in the governance of the country through elections, the barriers PWD face during the elections and other issues for ensuring the increase in civic responsibility.

The CIL organized a competition between the students for the best video, script and poster about the equal voting rights for PWD. The winner will be revealed during the conference in Tbilisi, to be attended by up to 60 pupils and 40 teachers from 26 cities of Georgia.
