In particular, Mr. John Wodatch is one of the authors of the Anti-Discrimination Act (ADA) of US, while Mr. Gerard Quinn is co-author of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Mr. Bruce Curtis is an American expert and Mr. Giorgi Dzneladze is Georgian expert on disability rights. The experts had been sharing their own experiences to the seminar participants during 10 days.

The 10-day seminar involved intense presentations and discussion as well as field visits in Dusheti and Martkopi residential institutions, educational institutions, Coalition owned wheelchair enterprise and etc. During the field visits the participants have seen how people with disabilities live and study and what is the environment that state offers them.

During the seminar, the presentations were made by representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations, who addressed the current situation in Georgia, reviewed the state programs for PwD and talked over the reality through the eyes of non-governmental organizations.

Within the framework of this project, the second phase of the seminars will be organised in December.
