Working meetings were held with the employees of Batumi, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Ozurgeti, Lagodekhi, and Telavi independent living centers.
On June 27–29, working meetings were held with the employees of independent living centers in Batumi, Zugdidi, Kutaisi, Ozurgeti, Lagodekhi, and Telavi, which were chaired by the chairman of the "Coalition for Independent Living", Giorgi Dzneladze, and the expert on training and development of employees, Irina Bregvadze.
The network's mission, goals, and principles of network work were discussed at the meetings. An agreement was reached on the network's structure, governance, and etiquette. A 3-year work strategy was set.
USAID's "Independent Living Program" is implemented in partnership with the "Coalition for Independent Living" and MAC Georgia.
The program in six municipalities in Georgia helps to develop additional capacities with local governments, improve public services, and spread the achieved results throughout the country.
