On February 4-6, in cooperation with the NGOs Coalition for Independent Living, Changes for Equal Rights, and the High School of Justice, a training of trainers for judges (TOT) was held in Borjomi.
The topic of the meeting was "UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities". Judges of the Supreme Court of Georgia and Tbilisi Courts of Appeal participated in the training.

Oliver Lewis, a human rights lawyer and professor of law and social justice at the University of Leeds, was invited to the workshop. As part of the cooperation, it is planned to conduct pilot training and train other judge trainers.

This activity is carried out within the framework of the EU-supported project "Civil Society for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Georgia", which will be implemented from February 1, 2021 by the partner organizations "Changes for Equal Rights" and "Coalition for Independent Living".
