June 14 is the Day of Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Georgia. On June 14, 2022, a march was held in Batumi within the framework of the EU project "Civil Society for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities" initiated by the NGOs "Amendments for Equal Rights" and the Coalition for Independent Living.
It was attended by people with disabilities, organizations working on the topic and supporters of people with disabilities. The aim of the activity was to overcome the social isolation of people with disabilities, to break stereotypes about them in society and to raise public awareness.
