Workshop for Persons with Disabilities and their parents

On November 18, Toma Kakabadze, Chairperson of the organization Changes for Equal Rights, together with the Kakheti Disability Advocacy Team, held a meeting for Persons with Disabilities and their parents.
The seminar for people with disabilities focused on the definition of disability, approaches, universal design and reasonable accommodation.
As for the meeting with the parents of persons with disabilities, the seminar participants talked about the challenges in the region and highlighted the problems.
The meetings were held in the framework of the EU project Civil Society for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
